With complex processes, exacting supply chains and increasing demands, the industry commands a practical and realistic approach to quality assurance. In addition to providing products and services that fulfill our customers’ requirements, we also support all interested parties in achieving their requirements. Therefore, Chrysalis maintains certifications to ISO 9001:2015 across the business. To further reinforce our commitment to both the industry and the quality of our products and services, Chrysalis maintains certification to the Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS).
Environment
With an integrated approach to our management systems, we also hold certification to ISO 14001:2015 at our Landore and Long Marston sites. This certification underpins our acute awareness of our responsibilities and the impact we have on the environment. We aim to reduce our impact where we can, recycling, reducing and reusing where possible. We monitor our ultimate impact in disposal, using licenced carriers throughout in support of our duty of care.
Safety
We pride ourselves in the high standards of personal safety that we set at our sites. Our ethos is that safety is not just focused on our workforce, but to foster a good health and safety message to all. We aim to provide safe conditions at all our locations and encourage personnel to adopt a safety culture. Working within the railway industry it is fundamental to our operations that we comply with industry regulations to further support our culture. Chrysalis Rail is keen to be recognised for its achievements and as such we are working towards certification to OHSAS 18001:2007 (ISO 45001).
